What does sustainability mean to us?
To us sustainability means respecting people and our environment. We constantly aim for people in all steps
of our production to work in a sustainable manner and consider sustainability in all major decisions their
companies make. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the working environment of our partners in Asia
has always been a priority for us. This work of integrating sustainability in every aspect of our business will continue.
With focus on people
Labour standards in the textile industry are generally high, but not everywhere. We believe in doing what we can to improve them even further. Our production is based in Asia and many people are involved in the in the process of producing the final garment. We do everything in our power to offer our co-workers high labour standards and a secure working environment.
With respect for our environment
The respect for our environment is one of the greatest challenges of our time. We tend to consume our global resources at a rapid pace and the textile industry needs to take responsibility. The production of textiles and trimmings consume big amounts of energy, chemicals and water. Together with our suppliers we work to improve production and though we have come far, our work is far from completed and we continue to do all we can, on a daily basis.
